Freelancer in the fields of material consulting, corrosion and corrosion prevention, manufacturing technology and damage analysis.

Furthermore, he is employed as part-time lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz where he teaches material science, manufacturing technology and materials in apparatus engineering at the Department of mechanical engineering. 

He graduated in chemical technology at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt and worked i.e. from 1991 to 1997 for the Friatec Rheinhütte GmbH.

From 1997 to 2002 he was employed at the Allweiler AG and still cooperates with this company on a professional basis.
